Jargon, decoded

Drop-stitch
Thousands of internal threads connect the top and bottom skins of an inflatable board, letting it hold high pressure (15–20+ PSI) and feel nearly as rigid as a hard board.
Fusion construction
Outer layers are heat-laminated to the drop-stitch core instead of glued by hand. Lighter, stiffer, and more durable than single-layer glued boards.
Folding kayak
A rigid kayak that folds flat, origami-style, from a single corrugated plastic sheet. No inflation needed — it assembles into a true hard-shell hull.
